Ozzy Osbourne has ‘humiliated’ Kanye West – but his net worth is far lower

Ozzy Osbourne and Kanye West might be feuding over the rapper’s sampling choice on his new album, Vultures, but West still has the bigger net worth, even after his recent scandals.
The Black Sabbath frontman – who is battling Parkinson’s Disease – was not happy when he heard that West sampled the classic rock band’s song Iron Man on the new album and that the clip was used during a promotional event in Chicago.
In a lengthy Instagram post, the 75-year-old assured his followers he was not at all associated with the rapper or his work and that West sampled Iron Man without permission.
He also declared the 46-year-old an “anti-Semite”.
Yet even after West’s 2022 anti-semitic remarks cost him major partnerships, he still has has higher net worth than the music icon.
In the fall of 2022, West made a series of antisemitic remarks and “White Lives Matter” stunts.
His October 8 tweet said he’d go “death con 3 on Jewish people.”
He added: “The funny thing is I actually can’t be Anti Semitic because black people are actually Jew also You guys have toyed with me and tried to black ball anyone whoever opposes your agenda.”
Both Adidas and Gap ended their partnerships with West for his Yeezy lines, from which he amassed a significant portion of his net worth.
Meanwhile, Ozzy has made his millions from being a rock star for about five decades, creating his own music festival, and even being a reality TV star on his family’s show, The Osbournes, which aired on MTV in 2002.
Ozzy joined Geezer Butler’s band Rare Breed in 1967, but the group soon disbanded.
The pair then formed the Polka Tulk Blues with Bill Ward and Tony Iommi, eventually changing their name to Earth, then to Black Sabbath in 1969.
They released their self-titled first album on Warner Bros. Records the following year and Black Sabbath soon became one of the biggest rock bands of all time.
Ozzy’s net worth as of in 2024 is estimated to be $220 million, combined with that of his wife Sharon Osbourne.
His musical legacy and his successful solo career contributed the most to his earnings.

After posing his lengthy Instagram post calling out West for sampling Iron Man, Ozzy once again opened up on his stand against the controversial Grammy winner.
He explained to Rolling Stone: “Well, nobody else would f*****g do it, did they?”
The War Pigs singer claims he had no regrets about speaking up for what he believes, specifically that Ye’s recent controversial comments were unnecessary and “just wrong,” adding that there’s “enough f*****g aggravation” in the world without it.
